For this assignment at Parsons we were told to create a collection inspired by ourselves. I chose to experiment with reflective surfaces to represent myself as a mirror-like personand to allude to my love for mirrors. Water is another reflective surface I decided to investigate sinceI've always enjoyed rain, beacuse of this I incorporated rubber accesories. My background with uniforms having to attend an all girls school in Venezuela served as inspiration for silhouettes and materials. Finally while developing the collection I listened to 1970s rock music which was key to the final aesthetic.
