ALICE IN WONDERLAND

During my design Internship for Loveshackfancy I got the chance to work on my Intern project. I chose to design a collaboration collection with the first edition of Alice in Wonderland. I thought the whimsical aura of Alice in Wonderland would be a great collaboration with Loveshackfancy. During my internship I was able to work alongside the print, woven and knit groups and so I featured the skills I learned into my own collection.

The collection features four different group pages each one inspired by a character from the books. Loveshackfancy is known for having one of the biggest vintage gowns archive and so for the development of the project I had to create a vintage board. My board features vintage teapots as seen in the Metropolitan museum of New York. Additionally to this, I decided to design a toile print since the inspiration is a children's book and toile is known for showing different narratives.
